Road Show Expo 2021

Our commercial vehicles took a long trip from our Andover factory at the end of November to the Road Expo Scotland & Bridges Scotland Show at the SEC in Glasgow, hosted by Transport Scotland. They arrived in time for the show build-up and escaped the worst of the appalling weather of Storm Arwen that we experienced in the few days before.

Both vehicles that are on show at Road Show Expo (1st &amp; 2nd December) are all new in both design and build - we have a first of its kind <a href="<https://www.advanced-kfs.co.uk/services/traffic-management-vehicles/drop-go-electric-vehicle-e-tech/>">electric Drop &amp; Go® Traffic Management Vehicle</a> based on the outstanding Renault Group Master E-Tech range, and we’re particularly excited about this vehicle as it represents our first step towards commercial EV builds. It is guaranteed to be a real showstopper, and we are excited to launch it at the Road Show Expo in Glasgow.

And our second vehicle, a new <a href="<https://www.advanced-kfs.co.uk/services/logistics-vehicles/drop-side/>">Dropside</a> vehicle development based on the Volkswagen Crafter Chassis Cab; complete with PALFINGER AG tail lift, regulation lighting, and a fantastic payload capacity. This design and base vehicle combination is a perfect addition to any fleet, and like all AKFS vehicles, it’s been Built Without Compromise.

The show runs for two days.

AKFS would like to thank the Graphics Department of BP Rolls Group, Brit European Transport Ltd for transporting our commercial vehicles to Scotland and finally also thanks to the staff from Acklea (Andy Dougan &amp; Clive Brocklehurst) who gave assistance with the setting up of our stand at the exhibition.

Both the Renault Master E-Tech Drop &amp; Go® and VW Crafter TM spec Dropside were received well from all of the Industry experts and Scottish government delegates who visited our stand over the 2 days with multiple requests for further information and quotations.
