Teaming up with Citroen for The CV Show 2017

25th - 27th April saw several members of the <a href="/about/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">AKFS Ltd. team</a> attend The Commercial Show 2017 at the NEC, Birmingham.

The largest exhibition dedicated to the movement of goods by road, The CV Show expected over 21,000 visitors, enjoying over 450 exhibitors across 4 of the NEC’s biggest halls; recognising the importance of connectivity, information sharing, and giving those attending the opportunity to build new relationships with other professionals working within the industry, as well as experience the range of vehicles on display.

<h2>AL-KO exhibition showcasing AKFS vehicles</h2>

Although we didn’t have our own AKFS stand at the show, if you were there, you would have noticed a couple of examples of our vehicles displayed throughout this popular 3-day event.

Working very closely with AL-KO manufacturing premium, high quality components used in the Automotive, Commercial and Leisure industries - we’re delighted that this company chose to use examples of our vehicles to demonstrate their offerings to the industry.

​

On AL-KO’s exhibition was showcased an <a href="/services/logistics-vehicles/box-body/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">AKFS Low Floor Box Body</a>, and an <a href="/services/construction-vehicles/drop-and-go/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">AKFS Low Level Drop &amp; Go</a> (specifically for the Traffic Management sector).

Stunning examples of our work together, these vehicles are built on AL-KO’s truly innovative low floor, lightweight galvanised chassis, increasing payload whilst maximising the safety and security of those loading and unloading the vehicles.

<h2>Part of Citroen's ‘Ready-to-Run’ range&lt;?h2&gt;</h2>

Also during the exhibition, Citroen announced their new ‘Ready-to-Run’ range; Relay-based, ready-bodied conversions of which AKFS Ltd. is a provider with our popular Ultra Car Transporter.

Citroen included one of our <a href="<https://www.advanced-kfs.co.uk/vehicle/ultra-car-transporter/>" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ultra vehicles</a> on their exhibit at the event, which received a lot of really positive attention.

<h2>Making new connections and renewing relationships</h2>

We very much enjoyed attending the Commercial Vehicle Show 2017 and seeing several examples of our vehicles on display with some of the industry’s most influential brands.

For us, exhibitions are a great way not only to demonstrate, first-hand, the capabilities, capacities, and incredible quality of our vehicles to professionals looking for specialist vehicles, but also to make new connections and renew existing relationships.

​

It really was great to meet so many new people at the show, and reconnect with some old faces, too.

​

And the best part about it? Everyone who came into contact with an AKFS vehicle at the show - including representatives from both AL-KO and Citroen - only had great things to say about the offerings of ours on show.
